During our consultation, we’ll go over the experience, what you need for your session, and I’ll answer any questions you may have!
Your Session Day
You will get pampered with professional hair and makeup styling, your favorite beverage and music, as well as expert posing guidance to strut your stuff!
Your Photos
After your photo session, you will go to lunch. When you come back to the studio after 90 minutes, your photos will be ready for viewing! You can choose your favorite photos and select which products and collections you’d like to order.

I’m Jolana! I am the Owner of The Boudoir Experience
Part of The Photography Experience, LLC, here in Rochester, New York!
The human body- its curves, markings, wrinkles, scars, and all its intricacies- creates a canvas of the life we have lived. Our body is a powerful and beautiful reminder of the battles we have won; of the warriors that we are. We should not feel the need to hide it because it doesn’t fit the unachievable standards society has created for us. Instead, we should be proud of our scars. Be proud of the battles and challenges we have overcome and accept our body no matter how imperfect it feels to us.
Boudoir photography, to me, is what helps us not only accept the body we have, but it helps us fall back in love with it. It empowers us to challenge what the “perfect” body is and kick all the expectations put on us by media, magazines, and society to the curb. We are each created uniquely, and that is what should be celebrated.
Boudoir photography is about the transformation that takes place between the time you walk in my studio and walk back out that door. It is about feeling beautiful, and that is something I believe every person deserves.

Every woman of any age, size, ethnicity, and backstory deserves to feel beautiful. We all have good days and plenty of bad days. With this giveaway, I want to create an opportunity for women to see themselves in their best possible light, best make-up, best outfit, best portrait. From my own boudoir session, I can honestly say that on those days that I wake up bloated, broken out, hair a mess, and life just taking me for a ride, one look at my photos helps me remember who I am. They help remind me that I am a strong, independent woman who is just having a bad day, and that it will pass. We have all gone through our own battles that have changed our bodies and our minds. Whatever your battle is, it does not define you or make you less beautiful.

How Long Does a Boudoir Session Last?
The photo portion of your session is up to 2 hours of shooting with posing & guidance. The experience is an all day pamper sesh 🙂
Are Hair & Makeup Included?
Yes! You will recieve complimentary hair & makeup by a professional artist!
Do you Retouch Images?
We provide magazine-quality editing of all images, along with minor retouching, however we do not do major photoshop changes. We want to highlight your REAL beauty!
Are Images Included?
No, there are no digitals, prints, or products included. Those can be purchased during our reveal session, held the same day as your expereince!
